Hi, I'm Jake Fisher

My name is Jake Fisher.

Professionally, I am known as a principal and co-founder of Bridges Strategies & Digital Marketing.

In my personal life, I enjoy writing, taking pictures, and traveling.

You may often see me walking around downtown Oklahoma City, enjoying a stroll down the Bricktown Canal, drinking a cup of coffee in the Myriad Gardens, or heading to an Oklahoma City Thunder game.

I am a proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where I studied communication and thoroughly enjoyed undergraduate life.

When I am not home in OKC, I like to explore interesting places and learn new things. I am equally comfortable on an undeveloped beach or a bustling market in Latin America.

You can follow me on Twitter at @jakefisher and on LinkedIn.

Professional Football Player, Offensive Tackle Jake Fisher

I have the honor of sharing a name with an NFL offensive tackle. This other Jake was taken in the second round of the 2015 NFL draft, as a left tackle, by the Cincinnati Bengals. He is currently the starting right tackle on the Bengals offensive line, blocking for running back (and my fellow University of Oklahoma alumnus) Joe Mixon.

This Jake went to high school at Traverse City West in Michigan and college at the University of Oregon.

In 2017, he was placed on the injured reserve list due to an irregular heartbeat. He recovered and rejoined the team’s lineup at the beginning of 2018. Then, in week 12 of the 2018 season, Jake was placed on injured reserved again, due to a back injury, after which, the Bengals signed tackle Andre Smith.

Going into the 2019 season, under offensive line coach Frank Pollack, Jake should compete with Cordy Glenn for the starting left tackle position and Bobby Hart for the starting right tackle position.

He played college baseball at my alma mater, the University of Oklahoma. He started his college career at junior college, Connors State.

While in college, Jake was a standout right-handed pitcher, posting a 2.50 ERA his senior level.

He was taken by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 22nd round of the MLB amateur draft.

Director of Auto Testing at Consumer Reports

This Jake tests new cars for a living and then writes about it. What a great job, right?

He went to college at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He has been with Consumer Reports for almost twenty years. In October of 2012, the publication named him the Director of Auto Testing.

Jake has tested virtually every U.S. automobile for the past twelve years. According to his LinkedIn account, he is partially responsible for an almost 1,000% growth in subscriber revenue at Consumer Reports.

In May of 2018, he delivered critical feedback to Elon Musk that resulted in improvements to the Tesla Model 3.
